Trackonomy Wins the 9th Edition Singapore Airlines AppChallenge Start-up Track

Trackonomy is excited to share that we secured the top-voted start-up in the grand finale of the 9th edition Singapore Airlines AppChallenge Start-up Track held on January 19, 2024. The prestigious event, renowned as the leading Digital Innovation Challenge for Aviation and Travel, showcased the ingenuity and excellence of 375 participants, ultimately recognizing Trackonomy as the winner.

Mac MacGary, EVP of Sales at Trackonomy, took the stage to deliver the final pitch. His pitch delved into Trackonomy’s innovative approach to refining the airline turnaround process, with a specific emphasis on enhancing resource orchestration and workflow efficiency. The challenge sought to elevate service levels within the catering process while optimizing resource utilization.

The SIA AppChallenge 2023 – Start-up Track featured four key themes, eleven challenge statements, and three wildcard categories. This annual event provides a platform for start-ups and scale-ups worldwide to present groundbreaking digital solutions that redefine the aviation and travel experience. Finalists were granted the opportunity to fly to Singapore for an in-person pitch to the panel of judges, and selected participants will have the chance to co-create a funded Proof-of-Concept with the SIA Group subsidiaries.
